ASSISTANT MANAGER
GROUP RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE DIVISION
(1 Positions - Kuala Lumpur)

CLOSING DATE : 31 May 2017

Main Responsibilities:

    • Assist Head of Division to enhance the overall compliance framework and instilling a compliance culture within AmanahRaya Group of Companies.
    • Assist Head of Division with the implementation of the compliance framework in AmanahRaya Group of companies designed to ensure:-
      • Compliance with all relevant external laws, regulations, guidelines and etc; and
      • Compliance with internal policies and procedures as provided by the management and the Board of Directors.
    • Detect and prevent the violation of any internal and/or external laws, regulations, guidelines, policies & procedures.
    • Investigate and report any violations to the Head of Division and/or the Board of Directors of AmanahRaya and to recommend remedial actions.
    • Liaise on behalf of AmanahRaya with any other organisations on compliance related matters.
    • Work closely with legal and business units to develop the appropriate policies and procedures, and other check and balance measures.
    • Provide compliance advisory and fraud risk support to various business units, including investigating and resolving Compliance issues.
    • Coordinate the creation of Compliance Register and Level of Authority.
    • Disseminate to AmanahRaya Group of Companies external laws, regulations, guidelines and relevant developments in the industry that affects AmanahRaya Group of Companies.

Qualification / Requirements:

    • Degree or Diploma in Actuary Science / Risk Management / Compliance / Account / Audit / Finance / Legal / Business Administration / Economic or equivalent from university recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
    • Working experience:-
      • Degree holder: 3 – 5 years working experience in compliance.
      • Diploma holder: More than 6 years experience in compliance.
    • Possess good written and spoken command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Good report writing skill.
    • Good computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and etc.

ASSISTANT MANAGER
MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
(1 Positions - Kuala Lumpur)

Main Responsibilities:

    • To assist in planning, implementing and facilitating all marketing plans/activities, promotional initiatives and communication activities (internal & external).
    • To assist in ensuring high client satisfaction level through implementation of client retention activities and relationship programs.
    • To assist in carrying out market research on the related business segments including but not limited to the market, customers and competitors.
    • To assist in implementing marketing activities / initiatives for new business acquisition.
    • To assist the Manager in managing, the Marketing & Business Development Department.

Qualification / Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree / Professional qualification in Marketing / Business Studies / Economics / Administration / Management /Finance and / or any related field from a recognized university / college.
    • At least seven (7) years working experience preferably in Capital Market industry or related field.
    • Working experience specifically with Trust Company and Fund Management Company will be an added advantage.
